Event details
We wish to host 6 events for which we are seeking funding. 5 panel nights and 1 quiz night. The panel nights will each feature 3-5 speakers who talk about their research or represent a company that will offer panel attendees insight into different Science, Technology, Engineering or Maths related careers. On each panel night, Following the presentation of the speakers, we will provide the speakers with a gift as a thank you and then provide food and drink for the speakers and attendees. Each of the 5 panel nights will have a theme and the themes are, Biomedical Science, Ecology and Marine Biology, Earth and Environmental Science, Psychology and Careers in STEM. Our 6th event is a quiz night, This will be our final social event of the year and will be an opportunity for students to relax and have a fun time. We will organize a Science themed quiz and provide food for all attendees and prizes to the winning team.
