Athletics Club was approved $1500 from the Student Services Levy for New Zealand Road Relays. The application was made in the August 2020 funding round as a Club – Sport applicant, against a stated activity cost of Accommodation is $67.50 per person per night. Van hire works out at $48 per person (this is based on a 2 day hire as the vans can’t be returned late on Saturday, we have to hire them into Sunday so basically it is the same cost whether the teams are back in Wellington on Saturday evening or on Sunday morning) Fuel per van = $75 for the weekend (based on last year’s figures) = $11 per person Race entry fee = $46.50 per person (based on last year’s entry fee). So…one night trip: $67.50 + $48 + $11 + $46 = $172.50 per person, or $2,415 for 14 students..
