Event details
This event is the annual New Zealand University Rowing Championships, this year being held down in Twizel. This event sees racing across 3 days and is attended by all major NZ universities including Auckland, Otago, Waikato, Victoria, Lincoln, Canterbury, Massey and AUT. The University Championships is the most important event on the VURC calendar and the primary means of competing for students who join the club. Each year Victoria sends a squad of approx. 50-60 students to the regatta.
