Event details
Every year there is an International Korfball Federation fee that korfball clubs have to pay. This year the fee will be $320 in line with member numbers. Each year we aim to have one or two full court korfball games to allow players to experience a full court korfball game and develop their skills. The court at the recreation centre which we use for training’s is not as big as a full court korfball game so we have to hire a court at the ASB sports centre to get the full Korfball court size. These games will be promoted to club members via Facebook and in training’s. This will cost $240 per game, totalling $480. Our current Korfball hoops were bought by the Wellington City Club and have been used by us while they have been on hiatus. Now that they are no longer on hiatus they are seeking for the Korfball posts and hoops to be bought off them so that they can buy some more appropriate hoops for themselves and keep up with other expenses. Buying these posts and hoops off of them will give the club security in having ownership of reliable posts and hoops to last for many many years, benefiting current and future student members. The city club is kindly charging a reduced rate of $200 for the posts.
